Mullite supports were synthesized using kaolin clay containing 83% kaolinite calcinated at 1250° C for 3.5 h. Nanoporous zeolite T membranes were successfully coated on the seeded mullite supports by hydrothermal synthesis. The best morphology and fewer voids were achieved at 393 K for 30 h.
