Microfiltration of yeast suspensions (Sacch. cerevisiae) was carried out to investigate the impact of a secondary membrane, composed of deposited yeast cells, on the filtration performance. Cross-flow filtration experiments with yeast–water suspensions in a rectangular channel showed the deposition
